The Fabricant will host a series of FREE webinars open to anyone who wishes to participate.
The first one was held on 14/01/21, 18:00 CET.
The webinars will cover everything from how to personalize a 3D File, add a new avatar, change the background and render, plus how to upload artwork into blockchain! The free #makingstrides webinars are part of The Fabricant’s ongoing commitment to nurture and grow talent in the tech space artist community.
1. What rights are Adidas/The Fabricant giving up for the 3D file (is it now a general free resource, is it for this contest only?), – TF and Adidas have intelectual rights over the design but the 3D file is open to use on a personal/professional way. The file is being given for free until 15 February.
2. what rights Adidas/The Fabricant or even KO gain with regards to the submissions (e.g. can Adidas post any submission to their social feeds..?) Adidas, TF and KO don’t have any rights on the creations submitted, we must ask for permission to each artist to be able to use their artwork. We can still repost on our social channels the content that they upload themselves.
3. Are any additional rights given to Adidas/The Fabricant for the winners (e.g. if general subs can’t be posted to social feeds, can winners?) – All artwork can be shared on social by its creator. The Fabricant and KK also committed to share the 3 winners in social media channels. The Fabricant will share and promote the winners collection in Instagram and website.
4. Can non-winning subs still be minted on platforms, be they KO or elsewhere? Non-winning subs can still follow both workshops and upload their creations to KO by themselves. They wont be part of the Winners Collection, but are welcome to use the name of the collaborated jacket and brands.

Karlie worked closely with VP of design at adidas, Jo Aberg, to craft and curate the vibrant line-up of evolved basics.
Karlie Kloss commented: “Staying active is such an integral part of my physical and mental health, and I’ve learned so much about teamwork and community from participating in sports throughout my life. To design a collection with adidas is truly a dream come true. I hope this collaboration inspires the next generation of women to use sport to fuel their passions and achieve their ambitions.”
